Residents and team members are celebrating the first five recipients of the Cedarfield Scholarship Fund. These team members represent five departments ranging from maintenance to health services to housekeeping. Their goals are unique, but they all hope to grow professionally through education while they continue to serve Cedarfield residents.
Over the past year, a group of engaged Cedarfield residents have been meeting to discuss the broad topic of philanthropy and a scholarship for Cedarfield Team Members. They have designed the program, including the application and selection process.
Part of Cedarfield’s 25th Anniversary celebration, the Cedarfield Scholarship Fund has already received start-up donations from the residents committee, as well as other residents and family members who have honored loved ones with gifts.
Contributing to this fund is also an opportunity for residents, families and friends to support and honor Cedarfield’s team members. The result of each employee’s professional education will allow them to apply their new-found skills and abilities in service to Cedarfield residents.
