In June 2024, Cedarfield completed renovations on three key areas of the community: the Fellowship Hall, front entrance, and library. The design of these spaces blends traditional charm with modern amenities, creating a timeless environment for residents, families, team members and guests.
FELLOWSHIP HALL
The Fellowship Hall is the heart of Cedarfield, where the community comes together to celebrate, pray, mourn, dance, and experience life. The design of this space was a collaborative effort between team members and residents.
- Natural Light and Flexibility: Removed draperies to maximize natural light and installed motorized shades for versatile lighting control. Natural light has been proven to improve one’s mood and health.
- Enhanced Lighting and Technology: Upgraded to energy-efficient LED lights, state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, and a rear projection screen.
- Improved Acoustics: Installed an assisted hearing loop system, acoustic wall panels, and ceiling tiles for optimal sound quality.
- Comfort and Functionality: Updated HVAC system and widened doorways leading outside to the terrace.
- Aesthetic Appeal: Fresh and inviting atmosphere with modern design elements.
FRONT ENTRANCE & LIBRARY
Our front entrance serves as the first impression of Cedarfield, and we’ve made sure it is as welcoming as it is functional.
- Aesthetic Updates: The updated design features modern yet timeless elements that create a warm and inviting welcome. The refreshed space boasts new carpeting, contemporary furniture, sleek banisters, and a refreshed concierge space. Impressive bouquets arranged by residents welcome visitors arriving at Cedarfield.
- Improved Lighting: Our updated lighting not only showcases Cedarfield’s original and newly refurbished wood paneling, but also enhances safety and ambiance.
Our library has received a refreshing update to enhance its tranquil and intellectual atmosphere:
- New LED Lighting: Soft, focused LED lighting has replaced the previous fixtures, making reading more comfortable and highlighting the library’s fresh and inviting ambiance.
- Updated Carpeting: The new carpet offers a cozy feel and contributes to sound dampening, enhancing the library’s peaceful environment.
- Fresh Paint: A new coat of paint has revitalized the space with a calming and refreshing color palette.
